Small moments of ordinary magic

This is it.
I inhale deeply, the air runs into my lungs, expands my soul.
Its here.

People, please forgive my melodrama. Spring has arrived! Wooo hoooo! It is one the most precious moments of the year. The ritual that marks this moment is unashamedly normal, ordinary, every day.

I have hung out my washing outside and it has dried!!

Oh, the smell of the clothes when I took them down. This big pile of laundry that needs folding is filled with pockets of spring air. Hurray for laundry folding! Hurray for spring!

Oh joy! And I don't know where I'd be if it weren't for these kinds of "ordinary and simple" – miracles! 🙂 Next Saturday it's vernal equinox!

Love the title and love your enthusiasm for doing the wash. 🙂 I too was just thinking yesterday I need to get our line back up so I can hang up the wash now that is warming up. I too get excited about fresh laundry dried on the line. Glad you are feeling better.

Love the photo of the laundry hanging on the line Concetta, did you take it? It's very cool especially with the silhouette effect against the sky. Obviously like everyone else I'm a big fan of spring too and all that comes with it. Hopefully I'll still find time to mosaic despite all of the outdoor distractions.
