Folks, I feel like a neglectful blog mummy…its the longest gap in blogging since having children (and I promise I haven’t been..!)
There has been so much wonderful work happening here in my little studio that I have had to totally focus on doing it rather than talking about what I am doing… I know most of you will understand.
The last 2 weeks…
– 8 workshops (over 65 people!) all making wonderful stuff…the last workshop yesterday launched the mosaic trail idea (a great success!). Pics to follow…
– finishing a commission of 13 mosaic plaques…pics to follow…
– started designing my Global Talent Search piece…
– putting together my student’s portfolio for the Topps Tiles Mosaic Award…pics definitely to follow as they are amazing!
– planning two new commissions (all v. exciting)
– selling two mosaics (one very large and huge wrench to say goodbye to)…
I haven’t even had a chance to tell you that I have completed an idea I had about 3 years ago…to create a speeded up video of the mosaic making process so you can see the process in 2.5 mins!
