Mosaic stars

Take some air drying clay, a rolling pin and a cookie cutter…

Add some gold paint….

Then some PVA glue and blingy glass, glittery tiles – or broken china, beads, shiny paper or textiles. Whatever you can get your hands on! You can sprinkle on glitter to fill the gaps too…

    Your stars are beautiful!
I would like to make a heart with a star in it and it will go outdoors on a circle in the paving stones on the patio.
    Can you help me?
I am a beginner and can’t find any ready made stars in the mosaic suppliers here in the UK.
    Kind regards
    Joan Probert.

      Hi Joan
      Thank you 🙂
I would buy a paving slab from a DIY place and mosaic straight onto it.
Otherwise, make it on fibre glass mesh (from mosaic suppliers) then stick on with cement adhesive. You should be able to find a youtube vid to show you how…

      Good luck
