Here’s Zeynap’s questions to me…<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your big dream?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

To\u00a0 build a zero-carbon house (better still, community of houses with friends) right by the sea and live sustainably. <\/em><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your big fear?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To lose my loved ones.<\/em><\/p>\n

Have you still saved your toys? What\u2019s your favourite toy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yup, loads of them, and my daughter is now playing with them! Favourites are my little bears that I cuddled as a child.<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you like telling jokes to your friends? Could you share one of them?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, I am not sure if my friends like me telling jokes to them!\u00a0 Why did the chicken cross the playground? ……..To get to the other slide. Boom boom!<\/em><\/p>\n

When do you say \u201cnever\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some things are sacred. No violence. No violating others boundaries. No shutting down your heart.<\/em><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite film and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mmmmm…. Love the Anne of Green Gables series of films, It’s\u00a0 a Wonderful Life and Dead Poets Society. I know, I know that’s more than one! Why? All stories about the triumph (or not) of the soul over life’s adversities.<\/em><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite book and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I Know This Much is True, by Wally Lamb. It’s just so powerful for me.<\/em><\/p>\n

What do you do to increase your creativity?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start playing with materials and\u00a0 stop doing housework \/ admin \/ computer work!<\/em><\/p>\n

How do you decide that your art works are finished?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s just an inner state of contentedness with it. Not perfection – as I don’t believe anything is really perfect (and that is a good thing).<\/em><\/p>\n

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mummy Pig from Peppa Pig.<\/em><\/p>\n

Are you superstitious?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nope. I have been breaking mirror for my mosaics for 10 years and all is well!<\/em><\/p>\n
