Smells great while\u00a0 you are making them too!<\/p>\n<p>You will need :<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p76SpP1nI\/AAAAAAAAApI\/DDuEUEM2ilo\/s1600-h\/orange.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p76SpP1nI\/AAAAAAAAApI\/DDuEUEM2ilo\/s200\/orange.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Dried citrus peel. We used oranges, clementines, satsumas and the lovely dark orange skin of our favourite Sicilian blood oranges from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abelandcole.co.uk\/blood-oranges-1kg\">Abel &amp; Cole<\/a> (I had a craving for these the other day and ordered a whole bag for myself!). Lemons would be lovely too and maybe limes?<\/li>\n<li>Thick black card, or ordinary cardboard painted black to provide a dramatic &#8216;grout&#8217; effect.<\/li>\n<li>White craft glue and spreaders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After you have thoroughly dried your peel, break it up into smallish pieces.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p7_Uu7keI\/AAAAAAAAApQ\/o7E4ug6xEDk\/s1600-h\/orange+1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p7_Uu7keI\/AAAAAAAAApQ\/o7E4ug6xEDk\/s320\/orange+1.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Cut out the shape of the mosaic you want to make (alternatively you can do a picture). We chose a sunshine and a bird to add to our spring corner.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p8F7ixztI\/AAAAAAAAApY\/PPafm1S5mt0\/s1600-h\/orange+3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p8F7ixztI\/AAAAAAAAApY\/PPafm1S5mt0\/s320\/orange+3.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Spread the glue fairly thickly before adding your orange peel &#8216;mosaic tiles&#8217;.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p8OlVz3SI\/AAAAAAAAApg\/B6lRo-4n890\/s1600-h\/orange+4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p8OlVz3SI\/AAAAAAAAApg\/B6lRo-4n890\/s320\/orange+4.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Cover your shape with the peel, leaving a small gap between each &#8217;tile&#8217;. The pieces can be easily shaped by snapping the edges (if only it were so easy with tile mosaics!).<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p-ME8YSsI\/AAAAAAAAAqQ\/58tmirkHEQ8\/s1600-h\/orange+6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_qsoYm16IPZk\/S3p-ME8YSsI\/AAAAAAAAAqQ\/58tmirkHEQ8\/s320\/orange+6.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Leave to dry &#8211; the glue will go clear. (If the card you have used is thin, it might curl a bit. Meanwhile, outside it is freezing and wet.
