But for a quick and easy way, just buy cheap garden slabs. Make your mosaic on mesh, sticking the pieces to the mesh using cement adhesive (thinset). When this complete, use more cement adhesive to adhere the whole piece of mesh to your slab. I actually used the cement adhesive to grout too (you can do that but you <em>can&#8217;t <\/em>stick with grout!)<\/p>\n<p>As for me, five more to go (a snail, a ladybird, dragonfly, cricket, bee!).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is what it was like before&#8230;.
